Whitney Elizabeth Houston was born in Newark in 1963. It is no wonder that they are for the music as a career, because her mother is singer Cissy Houston, their cousins ??Dionne Warwick and Dee Dee Warwick and her godmother is Aretha Franklin.
Whitney sang in the church, where she also learned to play piano. She also traveled with her mother on her trips, when Whitney was in her early teens. Besides singing backup for Chaka Khan hit single “I’m Every Woman” when she was only fifteen, and that Whitney would be a success, they also do preliminary work on albums by Jermaine Jackson and Lou Rawls.
